Presentation
Cecilia Ljunggren is reg. nurse and specialist nurse in pediatric care. She holds a master's degree with a specialization in pediatrics and a master's degree with a specialization in pedagogy from Malmö University. Her research areas are children's health and ill health and drama as a pedagogical method. Cecilia is part of the research groups Children and families health and Pedagogy and profession. In the research group Children and families health, research is conducted in pediatric care and care with a focus on children and their families in the surrounding community. In the research group Pedagogy and profession, the research questions aim to make visible and critically examine learning and influence processes in healthcare, health and care and thus contribute to the development of both education and function.
Cecilia is responsible for the course in the supervisor training at advanced level. She is also responsible for the course, lecturer and examiner in the courses tutoring and primary care in the nursing program and lecturer in Master’s Programme - Specialist Nurse in Pediatric Care.
Ongoing research and development projects
• Leadership and supervision with drama as a professional method for specialist nurse in pediatric care. A study in Master’s Programme - Specialist Nurse in Pediatric Care
• Tutoring and structured learning activities
• Drama as an educational method
• Intervention study in school health care to support young people in coping with their everyday challenges
Experience
Has a clinical experience as a pediatric nurse in pediatric emergency care and as a school nurse at Limhamn in Malmö. She has several years of experience in assignments as a conversation leader in crisis with a focus on children and adolescents in Malmö city. She has also been active at Lund University, Faculty of Medicine as a university lecturer with assignments as course coordinator, director of specialization, lecturer and supervisor.
