Riya Thomas is a Marie Curie postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Materials Science and Applied Mathematics (Malmö University). Her research interest involves the development of novel nanomaterials and their application in the most demanding real-world wants ranging from energy to health. She possess expertise in the domains of bioimaging, electrochemical sensors and supercapacitors. Currently, she is working on hierarchical nanoengineered assemblies of titania (Hi-NEAT) and their electrocatalytic activity on the tumour marker for the application in melanoma skin cancer diagnosis.
