Scott McIver is a 'universitetslektor' (Senior Lecturer / U.S. Associate Professor) at the Department of Global Political Studies. My Ph.D on comparative citizenship policy was awarded by the School of Social and Political Studies at the University of Edinburgh.

I am Head of a number of courses at Masters and Bachelor's level where the intersection of politics, policy and power are central. These include Transnational Policy; Climate Governance; and Development, Diplomacy and Foreign Policy. I also greatly enjoy teaching in the early years of the International Relations programme. My interests are broad, but specifically include contemporary European politics, international cooperation and development, environmental & climate policy and the theorisation of policy mobility and transfer.
